After years of watching the TW mob at work, I’ve decided to sit that one out.

I am up way too late but it's a long weekend.

I got way too tired of the little girl wallpaper that has been in my home office since I bought the place. I had removed most of it but the stuff left behind is no good for painting.

I got my order from Home Depot tonight and started working on it until now. I have cathedral ceilings so the wallpaper will stop at 8 feet. It will then have a border with LED lights covered with a wood border and painted walls to the top.

This wallpaper is peel and stick but is a huge PITA to install. It wants to stretch and wrinkle up at any moment.

Good Saturday morning, the coffee always taste better on the weekend for some reason. Really, not adding booze or flavor. Snow is almost all gone, poop patrol today, more snow coming.

 

Good morning friends. My to do list:
1. Battery is cranking slow in both the truck and TW’s car (that’s not TacomaWorld but rather Trophy Wife ). The negative cable on her car also has corrosion coming out of it about 6” away from the post. Definitely no bueno.
2. A local ham radio friend is changing antennas and giving me two that I can put to use. There goes the neighborhood... I already have a 132’ wire dipole strung between 2 trees 40’ up. These are beam type (more like TV antenna type) and will have to be mounted on a pole.
3. The contractor is finishing up some work at my mom’s house. I have to review and pay. Poor guy is probably happy to get out of that job. Mom is very tough, opinionated, and a haggler.
That’s enough for one day

 

Today is”do nothing day”, that’s a pretty big list.

Coffee, wife made some Starbucks coffee she got from her piano student. Not bad coffee.
Making breakfast, venison breakfast hash.
Then snow removal, wet heavy stuff.
