In the market for a new phone for me and the wife, and we are considering coming out of our caves and getting smartphones like the rest of the world.
So, simple question, since we can get either of these free, which one would you pick and why?

    FYI, we currently have AT&T.

    Good point, but:
    1. This is a forum of ppl who bought Tacomas, so, if anything, they at least either a)think like me, b)are as smart as me, or c)have similar interests as me
    2. There are alot of geeks on this forum
    3. I don't want to sign up for anymore forums

    Yes.
I purchased the Droid Incredible in April, when it came out. I have been very happy with it.

I personally recommend Verizon. I have tried everything. I travel often and Verizon is the best in coverage.

    So, Droid!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
AT&T sucks here so I am a bit biased. I've heard nothing but good things about the HTC though.

There's a reason why they're free. Old and outdated already. Get the Fascinate.

Incredible as Im sure you know is Verizon, but i do believe that is AT&T's equivalent. One thing I have to stress as I am a droid x owner, you want to try to stick with a flagship as those are the most supported =[ droid x is verizon's and it is due for only one more OS update which sucks, but it pushes them to make new phones. I was going to get the incredible but the reason I didnt was because of its HORRIBLE battery life, which is a struggle for all droid phones. stay away from windows phones- unless youa re business oriented as they are very limited right now.

Verizon has the best coverage I have used with a company. I had AT&T for 1 month, and then I bought me contract out, and threw my phone in a drawer. It was horrible.
