I’ve heard good things but haven’t seen it on a shelf locally yet (it’s all over the place a few hours south, apparently).

Picked up a reminder of one of my favorite places in Scotland this evening. Went in looking for a bottle of Bunnahabhain bought this one on an impulse. Glad I did

They have a bottle of Bookers for around 65 bucks I think I’ll pick up next, they’re had it for awhile and the price keeps going down.

Neither of mine are bourbons, and both have an asterisk beside them.
First worst is Crown Royal Green Apple. I was gifted some for a birthday or something and thought it seemed like an interesting idea. First pour of that was gag-inducing. I ended up icing the hell out of it and mixing roughly 1-to-3 with regular Crown.
*-I've still got most of the bottle; I haven't poured it down the drain because I keep it in my 'cheap sh*t' basket to bring out when the GF hosts a 'ladies night' and I don't want them wasting a good bottle pouring it over V8 splash, diet coke, or some other such trash. So it has a purpose

The 2nd worst was Tennessee Honey. Tried it straight up at room temp at first and it was WAY too sweet. Dropped a few ice cubes into it and still way too sweet. Mixed it 50/50 with some regular JD and it helped, but still a lot sweeter than I liked and I had a new problem: there was more of it!
*- I didn't pour the bottle out; it just lives at the back of the liquor cabinet and when I feel a cold coming on I split it 50/50 with bourbon to mix into a hot toddy.

I loved the bottle I had so much that it didn’t last more than a week and a half. I’ve never had the small batch before.

It may be a week or so before I can get back over there. I'll grab one for you if they still have it. I don't know what they cost - let me know your range. Generally speaking shipping would be in the $20-$25 range, depending on your location. I'm in Sacramento.

USPS Regional Box B (order the supplies off of their website for free) and print your own label. Way cheaper

They’re all meh. Right when you get comfortable with one of them, your package gets lost or destroyed. Never fails :(

Good luck! I closed today & was supposed to have keys as of 1800 PST.... Then this morning find out that me & the lender were the only ones who knew the closing date changed from Monday (holiday) to today. So as of 0800 today I own a condo that's being rented out until 1800 Monday when I get the honor of receiving the keys. Then.... The Hibiki Harmony is getting cracked open! at least I'm making $100/day as a new landlord!
