Yup I have all dealer paperwork for vin and deposit and stock number

 

Will file complaint Monday


I have emailed GM, CEO of dealer group and all executives

I will post updates as it happens here

Monday if nothing happens
I will dispute charge on CC

They claim that Toyota will not allocate SR V6 4x4 models to them. They must believe that everyone in SoCal must be rich.

They send them all to Canada....we get all the DCLBs up here.

 

We get the LB too but toyota wants us to pay $40-44k down here for one

thus had to go 1600 miles to get a $34k one

Get the refund and move on without giving that dealership another dime. It sucks, and that is a very hard configuration to find. I looked for that exact truck without the inferno interior for awhile and came up empty in early 2020.

You paid a deposit for a vehicle, but did you have a sales agreement for that actual truck or have anything in writing on the terms and conditions of the deposit? If you didn't get the paperwork and finialize the financing, they probably had someone come along and offer sticker price. It's extremely shady business practice, but if they offered to find another, there is probably no legal recourse without a written contract for that particular vehicle. The truck is gone and they aren't going to take it back from the person who bought it no matter who you email or call. It's not a buyers market right now, at least in my area, there still aren't many tacomas on the dealer lots, and they are selling everything they get in.

2. I have purchase agreement from dealership
3. I have the exact date first payment is due - in writing from them

 

Try Grants Pass Toyota, Grants Pass, Oregon. This is where I bought my tuck in Jan. 2018. I feel like I got a good deal and they delivered it to my house in Calif.
