CL, offerup, and FB marketplace will be your best bets

Not looking forward to selling my take-offs when the time comes... Have a hard enough time selling actual parts/cars/motorcycles, etc. on CL, OU, FBMP.
    "Is it still available?"

"Yes, it is, want to come look/buy?"
    ...crickets for days.
    "Did you sell it already?"
"No still here, come buy it."
    ...crickets

    Damn time sink...

I've definitely seen that movie before...

I don't understand. When I message someone about an ad, I generally want it NOW. I'm not good at being patient :goingcrazy:

Can I ask what makes this 3" of lift for a second gen? From other reading I was under the impression 5100s would be a minor lift to a stock 2nd gen, and you could get away with swapping with the stock ones without having to extend brake lines or do other things of that nature. 3 inches seems like it would be a whole thing.

I got lucky selling just my wheels with tpms. Still had the tires but at 2/32nd. Sold them for $450. Including the TPMS helps as they are 80 bucks a pop for OEM. Ebay ones are hit or miss.

having just installed 5100s I’ll try my best to explain. The lift doesn’t come from the 5100s. Those struts are the same length as the original part. The lift comes from the springs. In this case ome 888s. If you look up specs on those, their spring rate provides all the lift. The 5100s are dampeners.
I think the difference in height from 3rd gen to 2nd gen comes from 3rd gen trucks being heavier.
I replaced an existing lift on my truck. So not sure if a new 3 inch lift would require brake line extensions.
3 inch seems to be the threshold for other things like new upper control arms.

Also, the 5100 has different levels for the spring perch to rest on which will preload the spring. This preloading provides lift as the spring will compress the same amount regardless but changes how much the shock is compressed at ride height. With our IFS suspension geometry, 1 inch of lift at the shock equals about 2 inches of lift at the wheel.

No extended front brake lines are needed.

Same here. If I message someone about an item, it because I have cash and I actually want to buy it.
Not because I want to know if you still have it and then ghost. Seriously don't get the point...

Do your research, but yes, they'll fit. Assuming you have the 25001-119 models.

Let me double check what I got on there, but adding a camper and a front bumper with an inevitable winch in the coming year. Did you find them hella stiff?
