Id be more sad about the flare being scuffed

sad thing is thats the truth. those flares cost more than the damn bumper

 

Its separate from the actual flare; it's the end cap on the bumper.

 

I was wondering why the guy who sold @Tour991 that fender didn’t want to give him the flare.

 

fun fact. the corolla S model. both ive owned. the little side pieces for the front bumper cost DOUBLE EACH the bumpers price

 

Found my lost deep 10mm from my Kobalt set. Had given up so I bought a loose one at Lowes. The quality difference lol.

I underestimated how long a tire rotation in the 350 would take. Clocked on just under 2 hours.

Reprogramming TPMS and airing tires was extra annoying. I need a 1/2" impact and a real compressor

 

It feels weird emailing old friends out of the blue. Sometimes I wonder i I should just let people go.

 

Eh, everything for 3rd Gen 4R that I've seen is expensive and not something I even care for aesthetically.

Really, I want my truck to be monochromatic so I may just buy a new front end and have it painted black.

Not what I expected.

Frankie has always had this weird way of telling me about his...kids.

His kids were always more about 'what can dad do for me/us' than anything else.

It's not to say they didn't care but, I think the kids had other things in mind possibly.

I kept asking about Audrey (Frankie's wife) and her grandkid (the kids uncle) only because I seemed to be the one more concerned than anything.

Really, his son showed up to ask about the Ram Rebel truck that his dad was financing (under his own name) and wondering what he should do and what steps to take in order to keep it; it was odd that he threw in 'for sentimental value' when really...if that was the case, you wouldn't have said it as if excusing yourself.

When he said that, it solidified my opinion.

His older brother whom I've never met, got to keep the '16 Wrangler Rubicon that was completely done up with armor, higher end Fox, Cooper Pro's, etc (completely paid for).

It was only when I mentioned his dads giving nature that he brought up and acknowledged how his dad talked about me.

Idk, it was a weird conversation altogether and didn't sit right with me.

 

Feels weird to me too, especially so soon.

On the other hand, when I lost mine I just wanted to get through the day and get whatever needed to be done, done; zero fucks given about whatever anyone else thought unless they knew him.

Hell, he was a close friend to me and it's been bothering me day in and day out.

I've been putting off going to his house because in my own way, it's really hard to accept the truth of what happened and deal with it; it's not something I'm just ready for.

Yet his son showing up so nonchalant about things...asking about his dad's truck...it didn't sit right.

It was nice knowing his dad still talked about me recently but at the same time, everything I've been internalizing was coming right back to me.

 

Ugh. No shame in going with your gut. It does sound like a weird vibe.
