My daughter making her way home from college this evening, she spun out on the highway. She's ok thankfully and back on the road. I texted her earlier and said it would be best to wait until morning but nothing like home sweet home I guess.
After hearing she was coming home, I text her to take it nice and slow. Her vehicle is a 2000 Jeep TJ. Short wheelbase vehicles like that are just so unstable on slick roads. I bet she's going much slower now.
:goingcrazy:me with warm clothes and recovery strap at the ready

Daughter made it home a few minutes ago. I told her slow means 25-30 mph, she replied only going 40-45 mph....big sigh of relief anyway.

25-30 on the highway? That's more dangerous...

I've done it before. Glare ice, blowing snow, drifts and 50mph wind. The interstate should have been closed but I was young, dumb and thought I was invincible. Highway Patrol and plow trucks weren't even out. Took 8 hours to drive what should have taken 3.

Glad she's home safe and sound, @tacotoe.
