That's Plan B if i can't get anywhere with KTJO. I thought about filing a disputed credit card charge claim or whatever it's called, but since I, like a lot of us here, purchased it over a year ago, I don't think that's an option anymore.

too bad you can't get in touch with Brian(KTJO4x4 team member), he made it happen for me and somewhat relieved my tensions with my order. I was getting no where until Brian came into the picture, he made it happen for me, gave me my tracking#, helped me with the exchange, he followed up contacting me to see if I had gotten a response for it. Yada yada yada

 

I saw his email at the bottom of the list. Is he one of the ones no longer associated with ktjo?

I was thinking, if ever I get my hands on the handle and installed I could live with it's flaws(small nicks/dents/gaps with bolt covers). It's a mall queen but...

Wait a minute, KTJO is an accounting clerk as her legit job, and she's this damn bad about keeping track of money in/money out? That is fucking amazingly comical.

 

Once money passes from you (the taxpayer) to any gov't there's "no accounting" for it.

I finally got a response from her via FB messenger. She advised me to go through the refund/return email address instead of warranty, even though the description of my issues is a warranty issue according to her policies page. Main reason is that due to manufacturing inconsistencies with my handle, the return is due to no fault of my own. But going through the return/refund method according to her policy page, the item is subject to a 15% restocking fee. So i asked her about it, and she danced around the topic as I expected. Said they would need to "inspect" the item once I pay to have it shipped back and then would determine whether to issue a full refund, refund minus restocking fee or deny it all together. I even asked that it is all due to no fault of my own so i shouldn't have to pay a restocking fee and her response was another song a dance of "we'll inspect it and I promise we'll take care of you", blah blah fucking blah.

 

She does that shit on purpose so she has the product back in hand before making a determination so if I don't like the determination, I either have to pay for it to be shipped a 2nd time or accept whatever her terms of the refund are. Fucking snake.
