The tune from the tune pack doesn’t raise rev limiter at all. Well, at least it didn’t for my truck. 04b33 tune the truck redlines at 6k stock and with the premium tune.

see my previous posts...the rev limit wasn't updated to 7000 when the settings were ported over from 04B31 to B33

Yes, I was just commenting to the original post asking about it confirming that the tunes that are in the tune pack don’t alter the rev limit.

Upping the limiter is very easy in vF. Just open you tune and edit the two 1D maps for it.

yes got it figured it. The redline was not increased in one of the 2.0 maps. @SearArtist figured it out. Currently flashed to @PapaRee latest map and have only driven around town on it. Big difference though.

What is the process to flash someone else's VF tune? Do you need to purchase credits for this or just install the file?

ALSO what are you guys liking for AT tunes? Might even want to get away from the premium fuel due to soon to be rising gas prices.

I heard the 1.05 tune was awesome but didn't know if it could still be accessed?

1.05 was great but 2.0 is better. If someone still has the files for 1.05 they could flash it but not sure why you’d want that over 2.0...I personally run 2.0 non-thx and like it a lot. My truck runs really good on it.

Haven't, but I got all my downloads direct via email. I did pull down several instructional PDFs with all but one not currently applicable. I had about 30 mins to get the flash on so, came to the largest user group for Tacoma's, and here we are, with answers!

Sorry about the newbie question but here goes. j

I've been following this OVtune a LOT and I get lost in the weeds a little bit. I am not looking to do a custom tune, but there is a meetup here with a licensed member doing tunes. I believe the options are

The details: For xx$ they’ll be getting a 2.0 OV tune map and have these option to choose a tune specific to the following: regular or premium fuel, stock, 33in or 35in tire size and stock gears, 4.88 or 5.29.

If any kind of further customizations like AGM battery type or speed limiters removed there is an additional process and cost involved. We would have to schedule anything like that on its own day through my website and it would be $xxx The difference is I would need to create a custom tune file & flash the ecu vs just flashing the ecu with the tune pack files provided from OV tune.

My truck: 2019 OR, going to 33's soon, 3 inch lift/level, CMC, no added weight or gears planned

My questions: Does anyone think this included the TSB to 04B33 to help with the Cruise control problem
I go off road occasionally but it is my daily driver, will gas MPG take a bigger hit with premium fuel tune (currently geting 18-19 average per tank)

I have gone cross-eyed with the 100's if not 1000's of pages of OV tune. If anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it.

I have also emailed the person hosting this as well as posted this question in (yet another) OV Tune thread. I have searched like crazy and can't get a straight answer really.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks all!!!
