I’ve been tossing around the idea of dumping my 1st gen and other truck, and getting a gently used 3rd gen. I’m prob going with a X Trek grille. I like the simplicity and cleanliness of it. With that said, are there other options similar in look but retain the Toyota emblem; not so much the script TOYOTA?

I will also be going with a 2.5” lift and UCAs. Still unclear of brand just yet. Now the main reason for this post. The headstrong spacers to correct the “taco lean”... are they really that much of a necessity? I’m OCD and anal about everything I own, so if it’s a must have, I will have it. Just curious cause I’ve seen some folks speak about it but it’s not nearly as spoken of as the ECGS needle bearing replacement and whatnot. So I’m curious if it’s really an issue.

In addition, this lean, does it get noticeable after a certain amount of miles or something? I’d hate to do it, my truck not have the lean, then it be sitting 1/4” higher on one side. One more thing, what’s with the discrepancy in the spacers? Unless I misread the HS lean correction spacer is 1/4” for the front and 1/2” for the rear. What’s with that?

The dreaded taco lean. If you will be getting a coil over lift, simply set the drivers side a smidge higher and that'll fix the taco lean.
