Hey guys, new member here just signed up today ! This place is awesome. I recently have had trouble with a squeaky chassis and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make it go away ? It happens whenever I hit small bumps or park the truck and is quite annoying. Have a 3 inch lift kit on the truck which was installed by the trucks previous owner. Seems to be squeaking in the area of the rear shocks the most. Anything helps, thanks !

Might be some squeaky rear leaf springs/packs. Usually there are little metal pieces they install between each leaf to keep them from squeaking but over time they rub each other and wear down or fall out which begins the squeak. Try to lube them/ spray them/ or grease them.

sounds like a lube job is in order and see where that gets you.

Leaf springs. Lube them up and see what happens. Unfortunately you might do this often.

Heck, its probably normal. I've had an annoying squeak coming from the front end of my bone stock 2020 taco when the temps get below freezing. Goes entirely away in warmer weather, or when it rains.

Lubed up the leaf springs and bushings with pretty much a whole can of silicon based lubrication but still have the squeaking, could be due to the cold weather too, appreciate the advice !

Don’t use silicone. It just attracts more shit and it hold it in. Clean the leafs out and spray with dry film lubricant
