Could those be used as a spare for 255/85R16s? If I had to use it on the trail would I still be able to use 4wd? It's a 0.5" difference in height and 1.2" difference in width.

If serious, Rick is about to spin up production for the only batch of knobs in 2021. Order by mid Feb to get in. I think he has some Ti stock (I can ask him) and he haz a softy squishy spot for Ti, so that would make it probable.

Let me know if you want in...I know Rick fairly well and could make the introduction.

The thread of which I speak

Looks good, i went through that 2 years ago.
    Planning on running a winch?

also look in to the frame braces from c4 fab worth the investment since the bumper mounts on our trucks are weak

I'm not sure but I would guess there isn't much difference in height but don't know if that would cause any issues. On slippery surfaces there's room for the tire to slip so I would guess it's ok but I don't know if it's safe.

Yes. To put things in perspective, I ran my 31" OE spare with three other 32" Duratracs for 1800 km to Minden and VMUTS with no issues, no binding, no spurious VSC or ABS activation, even engaged 4WD on pavement as an experiment.

In your case, both tires would nominally be 33", so an even smaller difference than mine.

I might know the reason to that then...

Has anyone installed an inverter into their truck?
Is it useful or are you hardly using it.

As long as the tire is on a non driving wheel you are fine. So for instance if you ruined a rear tire you would want the same tires in the rear. I would be a bit uncomfortable using 4x4 as well. Mostl likely wouldn’t do anything though and for the odd time you would need it....

Just seen this one on Facebook. Didn’t say the year, guessing Mexico? Pretty impressive.

Not gonna put a winch on. Although I did weld in a mounting plate. I made brackets out of 1/4 " plate that mount to the side of the rails. Now I'm thinking about upgrading coils

When I did my research last year it was all about weight. I’m regester Ed as commercial only because I’m self employed and even if I didn’t use my truck for tools or materials, if I ever get robbed or an accident and I had stuff in the truck they could deny my claim. Also I am pulling a trailer with tools even this it’s under my own name. The thing about the weight tho is because our trucks are light, even with the trailer I fall under the amount before you need to regester for the yellow sticker

I have one, it has 2 USB ports and the 110v plug. I used it to plug my battery chargers for rioby tools, and another battery charger for the aa, aaa, etc batteries I use my my lights, etc... Not planning to use it besides for that.
Unless I want to work remotely from a camping site or on the way to tuk. Lol
