    I did the same to my Civic and a 25% for the top 3" of the windshield. Was awesome in the summer (my Civic didn't have AC), but annoying at night.

    I could not get the strip on the front I wanted to but got all the crap built int the windshield.

    Mine had the DOT windshield marks that Texas DMV says is a valid stop for the windshield tint and it was 3".

    I used to get pulled over for no front license plate a lot though.
