Yessir! It was four glorious years, when it was running. I miss it at time, but the Taco is doing well replacing it.

 

My package slipped into the black hole of Chicago and has been stuck for three days. Shipped 01/01.

 

The quality of these units appear to be subpar. It would be great if a reputable manufacturer like @MESO would start producing these grab handles. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

 

I had the exact same issue as ljerr2 I pulled it back apart 2 times to make sure it was in the slots, added a spacer
now tight to speaker grill, but makes the grill tough to get back in. overall glad to have it, not happy with
prepay treatment and shipping added when my order says free shipping to lower 48

 

You mean he will produce 5 and call it a day.

 

on another note, How many of you would chuck your $180+ KTJO4x4 Grab Handle and spend another possible $2bills to replace it? it's gonna take some time/work dealing with another Chinese manufacturer, it's cheaper to produce there but there's so many hurdles to cross to make it perfect? I could imagine the language barrier, long distance, craftmanship and trustworthyness involved with such a project. I believe it's a possible gamble to start off with, the money to be invested to get it started and to see it thru the end knowing all the variables

main thing it attaches, supports my weight and look semi decent for me.

ps being a prior small business owner I've seen a local company/heard of others import a Chinese good that failed at the end user level. No return No refund for the ReSeller, they had to eat it. You have to cover your back and even then whose gonna hold them responsible in mainland China?

 

Finally got a full refund. Glad to be over this.

Good to hear! Just curious, besides "all of the above", what ended up being your ultimate reason for requesting the refund?

People still mount their phones with the advent of android auto?

 

I run a IPhone and I still like having the mount, especially on Road Trips.

I'm too tempted to fuck with my phone if it's mounted in view. I plug mine in and stick it in the center console. Too many rules now against using phone while driving.

 

I wouldn't gloss over the fact that in the poll magically perfect is tied for the lead. So while people with problems seem to post a lot more, there's a lot that are really enjoying their purchase.
