Don't expect ammo prices to come down any time soon!

 

One of my local gun shops got 3 pallets of 9mm late yesterday afternoon and it was almost gone by 10:00 this morning. There was no limit and people were going crazy, it was .40 cents a round. I didn’t really need it but I picked up a box of 500. What I’m looking for now is, lead shot 12 gauge but everything is steel shot right now.

 

I’m trying to buy some .22’s from a friend of mine

 

My kid dropped my safe and it stopped releasing the Latch unless you pushed down on the door first. Luckily Amazon replaced it free of charge. Hopefully this one lasts a little longer.

 

How reliable are those safes? Is it battery operated? I've thought about picking one up.

 

Well before it was damaged it worked great. You can use a finger print, pin code, and a key. So you'll be able to get it open even if the batteries are dead.

 

at LGS guy said a pawn shop had 10 rd .22 for $50!

Coyotes in my neighborhood. Concerned that my small dog might look like a late night snack. Geared up for evening walks. Shield with Crimson Trace laser.


Also carrying a 6 D cell Maglight, which should be an excellent deterrent.

Speaking of that im loading up some 45/70 this weekend. I did some test rounds and they worked great.

 

How heavy of a bullet? My Marlin shoots the Hornady 325gr gummy tips pretty accurately.

 

Only have 300gr. Xtremes copper bullets, they shot out to 140yds nicely

 

Nice! They will go into the ammo stash.

 

The Guide Gun likes cast lead which is fine with me. My go to is a nominal 405 gr flat point. I do have some that run about 510 gr for bigger critters.
