PVC Roll bar/Sport bar

Home made PVC Sport bar plug and play. No holes drilled in truck can be removed in 5 minutes...
I took a bet and won. Who says you can't make a PVC Sport bar....

Rough crowd here. LOL! I do think you could make it higher to make those lights function better. I still believe PVC is for Toilets and not Tacomas, but its your truck.

 

It's not a bad idea to mock up exactly what you want in PVC, then make it (or have someone else make it) in steel.

 

Too small, bad angle and very clearly a budget build. Other than that, nice work.

 

Compliments the side steps and abundance of plasti-dip well.

Maybe consider back lighting the side steps?

Damn I haven't seen PVC since my XJ days when broke ass high school kids would try to make roof racks with it. Glad the roof of your truck will be well-lit now.

Ahhhh so probably a warm climate? i was gonna tell him to look into some EPDM pipe insulation. Id hate for his roll bar to freeze and crack.

 

You could post the actual picture instead of a screenshot of the picture in your photo app and it would be much better.

 

Haha, yeah that'd be bad! Neighbors up north would need heat trace plugged in to the bed outlet.

 

Looks like a hack-job to me. Anyone wanna bet that those lights shake like a Vit-A-Mix when (more likely if) that truck see's a dirt road?

Seriously, do it the right way or why bother?

 

Vitamix actually has good build quality though.
