    Lol good....

Thats one of the reasons I went with the MT's, they have a 4 inch backspacing that made everything stick out a little further

I took a few pics of my truck, but dont feel like reposting them tonight, check the truck album on my myspace if you wanna see em

I am zipping all of the videos in one file for download. Will report with a link once it's up.

Again, that was a blast - I need to post up a pic of my broken wheel, LOL - my replacement will be here Wed.

I also have a new exhaust rattle when idling - oh well. Adds character, right?

Check the rear end of the pipe, thought i saw it close to the fender. The only carnage i have found is another damn cigarette burn in my floor from sat night after the bar, oops, only need one more to complete the set of holes in each corner of the cab:( No wash yet hope i dont find anything under all the mud.

Ok I've got all the videos in one zip file that you can download and view them in better quality than youtube , etc.

I recommend copying and pasting the link into a brand new browser window:

    http://www.shealey.org/URE-VIDS.zip

I'll check that tail pipe right now - thanks!

    EDIT:
Dark Knight was right about my exhaust. FIXED!

I thought I'd post a few pics.. one of the exhaust, the other of the wheel "chip"...

Chop the exhaust down so it clears the wheel at least. Wouldn't wanna come off a rock and pinch it off. Just don't leave it pointing at your rear axle then the exhaust gases melt the brake cable. Might as well just get a new muffler, a flowmaster is like 1/3 the size of stock. See how it happens?

I was driving bumper truck all day and you were taking some of the same lines. Hopefully everything's alright.

Yeah I'm not as NEARLY armored up as you are (but I hope to get there one day) and hit bottom pretty hard on a few occassions (trying to be a man and hang wth luni)

Everything seems fine and there's no fluid in the driveway, LOL - but a skidplate is next after the rock sliders. I gotta get one of those armored front ends, too!

I'm also considering buying some black steelies and tires to go wheeling with.... but hey, wish in one hand crap into the other and see which one fills up first, right?

Anyone unzip and watch the videos yet? See previous post for link...

from the trails ya'll rode this weekend.........would my close to stock height truck be alright, as long as i have sliders and skid plates?? since i have installed my new suspension a little over a month ago.......i dont plan on a 3 inch lift anytime soon if any at all. i like the height its at now....which is a little higher than stock. before the spring meet.....i plan on having budbuilt skids and allpro sliders and some mud tires too.

hey tigerfan.............have you thought anymore about those diff lock actuator skids from inchworm anymore??? im gonna want one of those too, before the spring meet.

you'd have been fine with armor on the trails we ran...everything but Wolf's Den was considered a moderate trail

I've thought about it but right now i cant justify spending the money...even if it is only $75 bucks...i'm just gonna hope for the best when im on the rocks that i dont bust the actuator...

Where is Bud out of? He wanted a diff dropped 05+ to measure when I was talkin to him in KS. I could always throw my diff drop back in and I do need a gas tank skid and diff armor.

BTW I forgot to mention how impressed I was by the driving skills of my fellow tacoheads. These trucks don't just guide themselves over hills, through pits, over and around boulders and mud - I learned a lot on this trip - I try to learn something every time, but this one was very fruitful...

I was stoked the whole way through the woods, except for a 5 min oh shit moment watching that tard in the white rover thinking we might not make it up this hill (I was absolutely wrong), I had fun weaving up through the trees. That was the hardest I have ran my Tacoma off road yet but wont be the last time.
