Cavalry blue- any regrets?

This looks really really good. What camper shell is that?

 

If I were to trade in my truck, it would be either a cav 4r or tundra. Almost a year of ownership and I’m loving it so far. Only thing I could complain is when I’m weighted down full cab and bed, it struggles! Especially up hills in the PNW. That’s a different convo.
Pro headlights, black mirror signals and Sport hood are on my wishlist. The chrome really takes away from the color imo.

I went in for Cement and left with Calvary. Wanted a TRD off road 4x4 with a 6’ bed and they had both in stock and I went blue. Truck looks even better after you get it dirty and I find myself looking back at it in the parking lot after having it over a year. Fully optioned for $36.5k after 5 hours of negotiations. I have a neighbor who offered me 40k last week and it’s 18 months old gotta love the legendary reliability and resale value. I however, will NEVER sell THIS truck

I have 0 use for a roof rack. But the tacoma OEM roof rack looks SO good

 

Cavalry blue is such a cool color. Seen it on a Tundra at the 2019 auto show and it was one of my favorite colors. It's very unique. Unfortunately it was not available in 2020 when I had finally saved up the big down payment I planned for the purchase. So Cement ended up being the top choice color I'm very happy with that.

 

Its a nice color. Doesnt seem to go to good with chrome though. Ive noticed that on the tacomas and especially the tundras.

 

The only regret with my Cavalry Blue 2018 TRD Pro is that everywhere you go, people always comment on how cool the color is on the Taco. Well, it's not really a regret.

 

Data from 2+ years of rigorous Lab testing indicates Cav Blue is a much loved color

 

My only regret is not getting it sooner. Love my Cav Blue truck.

 

The white has had its issues but the Super White used on the Tacoma’s is a single stage paint ... there is no “clear coat” like the other Tacoma colors which do have 2 stage paints. For me it was safe because matching the white paint for my new sport hood was a breeze.

 

After 1.5 years, I still love my Cav Blue. It is probably the least seen color here in CO.... in my experience, at least.

 

My only regret is not waiting for a long bed to arrive at my local dealership...

Pricey but love it. Side windows prioritize form over function, might b an issue for some. Windoors were not available on this model.
