or when he told Duke he would get his wife a job. Duke thought he said we will get your wife a job in Canada. That's when all hell broke out.

I think I'm gonna start one called the "Canadian Castle" and have castles made of waffles covered in syrup.

Okay, the next time that somebody's kid wants to bring a gun to school, we should just let them because everyone else gets to carry a gun at school, right? A kid's gotta protect himself!

Or, the next time a school board is divided over what legislation gets passed, they can just all pull out their pieces and whoever is left standing at the end gets to cast the deciding vote? Fuck no, we're not cutting gymnastics! Amirite!

Few things in this world get as heated as some school board meetings. We're talking about people's kids here, and they get extremely passionate and a little nutty sometimes. So, you think it's a good idea to introduce weaponry to an already emotionally-charged situation?

The next time you want to get analytical about weapons carrying in school areas do two things:

1.) Stop and take a deep breath.

2.) Pull your head out of your ass.

I thank GOD I was born in the United States single day because if I was born in some other god forsaken country where the people did not believe in the right to defend them selves I couldent take it. We are the last free country!

And as Canadians we're quick to defend each other too, which is the whole reason this started. The thing is, and as was pointed out already, you can't push yourself on a global scale and not get questioned on what happens on your home turf. It's like people who have no kids telling people with kids how to raise them. And in this example, we both have kids. I'm purely objective. If something about Canada sucks, I'd be the first to say it.

If you're fat and you die as a byproduct of being fat, I really couldn't give a fat flying fuck. Pun intended. (I have little to no respect for people who have little to no respect for their bodies.) We still have stun guns and mace up here. Anyway you took what I said out of context. I said in large crowed area. Someone will step in and help granny.

Look I dunno how plain I have to make this. I love Canada, I like America. I like Americans, in some ways I like Americans far more than Canadians. Your patriotism is literally awesome to behold, and frankly I wish more Canadians felt the same way about Canada as you American's do of the Good Ol'USA. Do I think you guys have a gun problem? Sure do. Is it fixable? Fuck no. Solution? Arm the populace. I can see where you're coming from and it makes perfect sense. Criminals are armed, and police forces are taxed, so make it so that anyone who fucks with law abiding citizens gets a lead enema.

Do I love living in Canada? Heck yes. Would I prefer living in the States more? Probably not.

Reason? I was born in Canada...I'm fucking biased. :D

My forefauthers fought and died for the right to bear arms. It is in our constitution. A school is not a constitution free zone. As for kids having guns, that is not there right because they are not adults. You never know when an emotionally-charged situation will happen.

‘‘Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.’’ — Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

haha im mexican and allow me to clarify what a relleno is. its a chile that has been fried and stuffed with cheese or ground beef. depending on what youre into.

by the way i live in a border city (El Paso) where we have had a total of 4 murders in the past year and our sister city as we call it (Juarez) is creeping up on 3000 this year. While i do understand that they are fighting a drug war over there and MOST of the murders are drug related, i believe that if mexico were like the US and allowed law abiding citizens to carry or at the very least own firearms, innocent mexicans would not be getting slayed as they are right now just because they refuse to give up their houses, cars, or paychecks. I think the US got it right with the whole firearm issue. firearms in the hands of good samaritans makes criminals think twice about the crime they are about to commit i believe

3.) Start calling people names and putting them down.

I really thought we were getting somewhere. :(

Since I'm at work I'm not going to go sifting through the "things that make you say wtf" thread, but there's some videos of people getting really pissed about their hamburgers.

I yell at people on the freeway and I haven't pulled a gun yet.

I've been really angry at some of you guys on the forums. I haven't fired at the monitor, and my keyboard isn't damaged. I haven't even posted a picture of a gun in the forum yet :D

Just because I have an argument with someone doesn't mean that I'm going to take violent criminal action. I think you can see that Mr. Duke isn't your average citizen.

and you might want to stave off the whole "guns on campus" topic, you are really asking to open a can of worms that's been heavily debated.
