    2 questions.

Is a limit strap needed for this? Ive got dakar HD and HH with poly bushings.

Also if so whats the best mounting location for a strap?

Limit straps never hurt, they’re cheap insurance. On the axle, weld on a double shear tap. Up top, you can just drill a hole in your frame and bolt it on. I like the camburg limit straps.

What ever is the smoothest/easiest and clears the tire under articulation.

Archive Kit comes with limit tabs and bolts, you need to source 2 straps

Could be the shocks knocking to one side if the bolts are not tightened. Did you bolt the top of the towers to the bed?

Waiting on my Fox 2.5 DSC shocks before teardown and assembly. I'll be installing 16x8 -20 with 285's. Back spacing is about 3.75 (3.75 is for a -18 offset wheel). Will I be needing any spacers for this setup?

I'm gonna be running stocks for a couple months until my wheels arrive, so I know I'll need spacers for those..

That will be really close but you might need a spacer for no rub when fully articulating

Based on the specs, what size spacers would you recommend? I'd have to do the same up front to keep things uniform, which means more modification to clear for for rubbing in turns.
Btw, its an AccuTune 5A mid travel kit install..

I heard there is a 3/4" spacer out there by Bora, that should eliminate any rubbing. Consider just running 3/4" spacers out back.

Right now it's getting hard to find Bora spacers I had to order direct from the manufacturer. You can get them from .25" to 4" if you order direct there is a bit of a delay but not horrible. Not like King shocks wait

:hattip:I just ran into it. Typically toytec carries them but not right now they are down to one size.

Ordered 0.875" (7/8") Bora spacers at motorsport-tech... talked to and ordered from Lenny (I think that's what he said his name was). He stated that with the 7/8" spacers, I wouldn't have to shave the stock studs - as the 3/4" I would have to in order for them to be flush with the mounting face.
They would have it built and sent out next week:thumbsup:

For future reference if you look at the back of the wheel and there are hollowed out spots in between the stud holes of the wheels you may not have to shave studs down as most of the times those recesses are deep enough and big enough to accommodate the stud protruding past the spacer.
Wheel on left one that you'd have to shave studs wheel on the right is what I am referring to (these are just examples, you'd have to verify with your wheels).
