But it sounds like you are aware of what you have. Sometimes, others, not so much.

It's not that a Mal or Dutchie is a bad dog. You just need to be aware of the breed behaviors and your responsibilities as the owner of a dog that has bite training.

Look up a recipe for a doggie cake. My boxer went absolutely bananas over them. Happy birthday pup!

 

I hear you. I don't own one. I have a morkie. LOL. My step son and his wife run a dog kennel and are very dog knowledgeable. The trainer where they take their dogs gave this malinois to my grandson because he volunteered there, helping to clean up. The rest of the litter went to police departments. I will say, my grandson gives plenty of attention to this dog and it is being trained in a way that is common for these dogs. I am sure they understand the risks.

 

Constant training appears to be the key.

I'm already looking at Aussie pups. Didn't think it would be long, but man I'm not looking forward to the puppy stage (chewing, shitting in the house) again... and yet, I'm kinda looking forward to the puppy stage (adorable little furball, sleeping with her head on my shoulder and snoring in my ear- best. sleep. EVER), as well.

Little Daisy is always hanging out with me.. here she is taking a moment to break in some seats during the bench to bucket swap!

 

She has become much more comfortable around people and other dogs. Has at least one friend at each of the local dog parks. Today, she was running around the park with one of them when they found the mud.....

Suki had a hard time working tonight, the Home Depot was a little exciting to her, especially the pallets of wood and empty shelves, she’s not scared of a damn thing...lol
Remember she’s a rescue so we are experiencing all kinds of new things, I was really proud of her though,she greeted people politely and throughly enjoyed herself..

 

How difficult was it to get her to willingly wear shoes?
