That's awesome....but was it just on the drive home?

I wonder if it will relearn it's old habits over time and go back to square one....

Well,so far, the biggest difference that I have noticed is that it takes longer for it to shift into 5th and 6th.It now feels a lot less sluggish cause of the higher rpms, good enough for me,time will tell.

Anyone have the dealership refuse the updates based on aftermarket parts exp. wheels and tires or lift?

Will the AI system in the ECU revert back to the old habits? I was under the impression that with the SSP you didn’t have to worry about this. Also is the reflash of trans basically taking the shift points to what’s on the SSP via programming and what benefits would their be to keep current programming and continue using the SSP?

Does this TSB apply to 19+ Tacomas as well, or would that software have come standard from the factory?

The TSB on topic is the 58 and 62 stated here. It is not applicable to the 19 model.

However the TSB 92-20 is applicable to your machine as discussed here.

    Additional information here.

Darn. Thanks crbr. I didn't think to use search as I figured this was the only thread.
