Also, depends on tires too bro. Not all 285/70s are the same. Bfg Km3 is wider than yoko g003 when compared side by side. Both 285/70.

Where are they rubbing anyway? Are they rubbing all around? Before alignment mine rubbed on the mount and at the tip of the lowest plastic part on the fender liner. Then i told the alignment guys that im rubbing on those parts, so they suggested to adjust caster all the way fwd. And then yea, no more rubbing from there even in full flex

Both sides rub on the plastic liner of the fender well at full turn. I had the caster at 4.0 and it was making a popping sound when sitting still and turning the steering wheel. I had it dropped back down to 3.5.

Maybe try yokohama g003 for your next set. But yea man, tires can play a big factor as well, not just wheel specs

You guys might be at the same 4 degrees positive caster, but might not have the same upper control arms. The caster number on paper isn't the golden ticket to not rubbing... what's important is how far forward you move the wheel using the stock LCA adjustments just like @AnytimeBaby said (and that does increase caster).

Stock LCA adjustments increase caster by moving the lower ball joint/lower spindle forward. This is the key to gaining clearance at the cab mount area.

Aftermarket UCA increase caster by moving the upper ball joint/upper spindle rearward. Your caster numbers will go up on paper, but you won't get the same clearance as moving the wheel forward in the wheel well with the stock LCA adjustments.

See where I'm going with this? You could have the same caster numbers on paper, but the wheel could be physically in a different place. That's why it's not about caster on paper, it's about how you got that caster.

I hope this helps clear up some common misconceptions about caster numbers and tire clearance for someone who reads this.

any tips on helping me achieve my rears to be raised about 3-3.5 inches running icon RXT leafs? I have about a 3.5 inch lift in the front right now. Im considering dropping the notch to be at a 3 inch lift so I can have my back raised a bit higher than my front. I'm planning to put a bed rack and RTT on my bed.

Your truck will ride better if you lower the front a little. That also helps with keeping the rake you want.

yeah I think im actually planning to just drop the fronts and swap out my camburgs with SPCs and that should give me clearance

you think at 3" the ride will be comfortable? or still a bit stiff compared to being at 2.5?

Don't lift it higher than whatever the shock manufacturer recommends.

probably will go 2.5 to be safe. don't want to be 3 and then hate it still haha. I'll drop to 2.5 and I ordered some SPC and RXT leaf pack as well. The build is never ending. haha

haven't been on here for awhile, so I don't know if you got your answer yet....
I've got the Victory Blitz bumper with an Ironman 9500 winch up front. I'm on 2nd notch, stock UCAs, running 265 70 17s KO2s. Stiffer than stock after 1K miles on the lift. Handles great on pavement and dirt. I went with the OME med Dakar leaf set which gave me more carrying capacity and greater articulation. (picture page 203)
