Home made PVC Sport bar/roll bar. Plug and play no holes drilled can be removed in 5 minutes.

 

Cheapest mod and first mod for me was the dealer license plate frame with the dealer's name all over it in white letters on a black frame. Spray painted front and back frames all black. Looks much better.

 

Is that functional (what does it do?) at all, or cosmetic, or something in between?

 

Looks like it holds the lights.

 

Exactly it is cosmetic and functional. It holds light bar as intended. It was something I had in my head to build and I just had to do it. I get many compliments and happy with the results. It was fun to make it.

 

Can we get some more pictures and angles? I was going to build a headache rack out of 1.25 steel pipe and never got around to it.. the pipe bender I have access to is terrible.

Sure here ya go. All you need is 6 45 degree elbows and 2 inch PVC. And it locks in place using bed rail system.

It is very strong locked in place no vibration or movement

So what is the bracket you are using to attach it to the bed rail? Custom made or store bought? Pictures please. TIA

 

So as you can see I made 2 brackets out of flashing that is screwed into PVC. Than I have the bracket I made to be mounted with the bed rail bracket. To remove just remove both bedrail brackets and my light bar wiring I soldered 2 male to female connections so it can just be unplugged if I want to remove it. The PVC that is up against the rubber window molding mounted with 2 layers of 10lb double sided mounting foam. No vibrations no movement.

 

@Mandy3206 Hope you are still out there! Does the end of the stock rod that engages the elevator/winch fit through the 1 1/2" pipe (If that is what you use to engage the elevator/winch.).

Cleared up the oxidation on the headlights in both my truck and the wife's car. Not a permanent fix (no uv protection so it'll just oxidize again) but made a huge improvement using aluminum and mag polish and then a coat of wax. Also clay-bar'd and waxed both windshields. Both worth every ounce of effort and free since I already had everything.
