    Today's lunch was a fancy ... "cook your own Thai food at the table" ... we eat the big meal at lunch.

    We used to do this in Thailand and wife tried to do it today (first time) and it worked.

    Salmon, pork meat balls, shrimp and small lobster pieces, eggs (with home made sauces) ...... and many different types of (unknown) :confused: veggies to me ... and my wife doesn't know what they are called in English ... lol.

    Most of the meat is from Costco (except pork) and the veggies are from several local asian markets.

    PS ... The veggies are from several local asian markets and are much fresher and much cheaper than the normal grocery stores too .... and some of the fruits and veggies can only be found at the asian markets too.

    FWIW .. We have the main meal at lunch and only have light .. "dinner snacks" for evening meal .... thus the term ... "dinner snack" ... :)

    What cooking devices do you have?

    An air fryer can knock out a couple of frozen breaded chicken tenderloins in 15 minutes.

    A pressure cooker just makes everything cook fast.

    Sous vide is a set and forget until it's done. I assume, anyway since I don't have one.
