Welcome to Little Creek scale ORV area.. my back yard!

The creek is a bit dried up due to lack of recent rains..

Not all obstacles are of the natural variety, but I think this old BFG is a fitting touch. Only about every 10th log is fastened to the "collapsing bridge"..

I need to find a front vs410 axle and finish that build... Last thing I need.

I need to scavenge a winch controller for the repaired servo winch that finally came in for the scx10

I ordered some proline class zero tires for my scx10ii build so it should be complete soon as I can get up with the guy from hobby town who is bringing them to me.

I pulled out the capra and tinkered with the dig. It worked well for about 5 minutes then shit the bed again. I'm not sure if it's the micro servo or if that transmission needs to be looked at. I might look at it again tomorrow.

The bomber is still busted. I plan to look it over tomorrow. Transmission rear output is not happy.

And my xr10 must have had some cold solder on the esc to esc connection.... Need to redo that as it didn't hold....

Was good to tinker again a bit this past week. I need to get them all in order

Just look at the build thread
Got my Wraith back together after 8ish years of sitting in a closet. Just waiting for the shocks to get here tomorrow and the batteries on Sunday and she'll be drivable again. I'll be picking up some aluminum body panels soon as well since the stock ones are MIA. Then I'll start on my R1 that I never got around to building. Going to pick up a Losi Lasernut for my birthday in March as well. Should be a nice little collection.

Knocked out a couple items this week. Discovered the programming in my radio was not setup for the winch or the aux wire from the esc in 3 vehicles.... Must have fucked something up with the settings unknowingly while rearranging the models in the radio.....but should be easy to fix just sit down and make them the same again

I recently got back into the hobby after being out of it for a good 6 years. I got my old SCX10 running with a stupid fast brushless system, and decided to pick up a Element Gatekeeper to have some fun with. In doing so My buddy spent less than an hour messing around with the scx10 before ordering a Bomber.1230201901.jpg

Well after fixing the bomber transmission I started looking into the radio issue with the other trucks. the aux wire in my bomber was programmed in the radio to work in crawler mode or swap into rock racer mode with less drag break.
After figuring that out in the other trucks I went back to troubleshooting the winch controllers. For the life of me I couldn't get two of them to work. Finally I swapped in one from another truck and it was all set. Messaged powershift and apparently he had a batch get out with firmware that wasn't compatible with futaba radios. Omfg that would have saved me about 45 minutes worth of stress and frustration. They have been mailed out for a reflash/replacement....

On the bright side I'm only an axle away from having everything good to go on the vs410 build...currently out of stock. I need to spend some time today soldering the escs together on the xr10 and do some research on a capra dig servo that won't shit the bed.

Honestly I was a bit pissed off at the world of RC after losing our local shop and my part time gig with discounts on parts. Such is life though and I need to appreciate all the things a bit more this year. Last year sucked and I'm determined to make this one better
