@tonered - So here I am looking at camping trailers. Are we still waiting for the tow tune for 04B33? I figure I should probably add this to my list of towing mods needed.

Yes. A Tow tune is supposed to be one of the Final options.

Any little bit will help when yanking something along.

    Good deal.

I'm trying to keep it as light as possible, but the family has other priorities. 4835lbs fully loaded puts me at about 75% of the towing capacity. Not sure how I feel about that yet.

If we ever get one, it looks like we'd be about 4,500lb dry. No storage space here, so that keeps it all at bay. By the time that we move, the girls will be gone and we should be able to do something smaller.

From everything that I have seen, reasonable expectations and smart towing seems to be just fine. I've been wanting to know for sure myself.

Were looking at a R pod RP193, dry weight is 3654 and cargo capacity is 1181. It has bunks for the kids and a murphy bed for us. The dinette also makes a bed (sleeps 6). Mostly were looking for something that will let us get out more during the off season. Especially when the wife and kids have three day weekends.

That was my hope. It just doesn't work if paying for storage. We'll see what develops in a few years.

My storage cost will be building a screening fence with a gate to appease the HOA. I'm planning on just doing a straight fence/gate section in front of the parking area. A few others have done similar in the neighborhood, so hopefully they approve it.

We would have plenty of space in the backyard, but it just isn't accessible.

We would like to eject out of here, but we have a ton of projects and things to get rid of.

Had my truck tuned by @tonered a few weeks ago and have noticed a huge difference. Wanted to give a public to Tony. Thanks again!

Question for all the guys selling tunes - how many people have you had complain about mpg dropping and wanting their money back?

I’ve had three people this week complain their mpg went down (and there is no way they went 500mi or two tanks of gas yet)...I explicitly tell people there is no guarantee on mpg and that is not the point of the tune, yet I’m getting complaints and people wanting refunds (who I went quite far out of my way for and not really wanting to give them a refund AND have to travel to reflash their truck back to stock)...

just curious how other people handle this situation if you’ve come across it?

None. But I always tell them YMMV. All of the ones I've tuned seem to understand tuning can have downsides.
