The +4 should definitely make it easier!

Just finished the driverside fire wall section

Finished here for the night. Passenger side cutting was super fast now that I knew how much to cut. Plating everything is definitely time consuming. Gotta weld so slow. Never really worked with sheet metal before20210117_223915.jpg 20210117_223927.jpg

Could just get their new inner wheel well setup when it's available. This is a lot of work haha

Still would have to tub the firewall. Yeah I'm really considering it and then modifying to work with what I have planned for the rad support and some inner wheel wells. I'd also like to redo the fenders and make them more robust so they don't crumple as easily when leaned into a tree.

Yeah all my fenders have some sort of damage, along with my driver door which is totally crunched. Smashed the window and broke off the mirror at the same time on that one. I'm planning to eventually do tube fenders. Glass would be sick, but I would for sure destroy it

Yeah we can't do glass either here. I think we have similar type areas we wheel

Yeah seems like it! I am still on the fence though because I just love how it looks, and would keep the cops from pulling me over, but yeah, lots of tight trees and rocks etc.

This spot almost ripped my tail light right off.

Today's progress. Everything is fitted up and tacked in. Driver side is almost fully welded. Just gotta spend the time welding the rest all up, then figure out how to remount everything, and sort out a new washer fluid Resi, and cut the fenders up, probably past the clip holes.

The 4 bolts on the tailgate side of the cage, they aren't factory points are they? Just run bolts through the frame?

Made a mounting point coming off the frame. Only one bolt actually meets it, the other bolt just sandwiches the bed with a plate on the other side.

You got the black rhino riot beadlocks right? I am looking at those wheels in that same offset you have. To keep the tires tucked in nicely in the front. Just making sure they do fit as I think I will run that wheel in the front.

Yep! That are pretty sweet, I like them. They fit no problems in the 17" version at least. I have the 4.75" back space or whatever they are.

Yep that's the ones I was looking at lightest beadlock on the market! I'm probably going to end up with staggered wheel fitment so that I can have a square looking truck with the amount of poke from the tires front and rear. So the -38 rear and 0 front and run a spacer in the rear too. Rotations might end up being non existent IDK haven't figured it all out just yet.

Ah yeah interesting. Definitely wouldn't want to do mismatched wheels personally. But it would be sick. Tuner styles.

I'm just not a big fan of the wide front end with the narrow rear. Plan is to eventually do a full width rear so 72" WMS to WMS which is almost the same as the +4 kit which will be around 73" give or take.
