this is the buck that I got last Monday in Mason County, Texas. Largest deer (heavy deer) I ever got. It weighed 120 lbs. field dressed. I had it weighed at the processor. 19.5 spread, 10 pt. It had a large 4in x 4in patch of hair missing on its shoulder. Had a 19 in scar on its left side most likely from barb wire. It had an old arrow shaft still embeded in above the shoulder. And top it all off, the spine on the deer was deformed...most likely from the arrow shot or what ever hit it in the side (car). I am going to have the horns scored later this week. The processor said the deer was 5.5 to 6.5 years old judging from the bottom teeth. He was trailing a doe when I shot him.

This is a buck I got in Mason a few years ago 8 point. Got a huge doe the next day, had a freezer full of venison that year.

No problem. I love hunting in Mason. I have taken lots of deer there and never tire of seeing other folks deer that they take.

If you go on facebook you can type in a buddy of mine that now lives in Montana his name is Dan Pitt. Look at some of his bones, the last time I looked he had a huge Bull Elk in his sig page that he killed with a bow.
