I saw somewhere you should smoke (after burn in) something that is fatty, they suggested chicken thighs. Maybe just because they are cheap? I am very excited to do a butt though. Love pulled pork and wife has been wanting to make some Brunswick stew so I promised to make her some bbq for that.

I need to get a weber kettle this year and a vortex...tired of only being able to do 6 wings in the air fryer...I hear the vortex on the kettle is just as good and you can fit a whole pack of wings on there as well.

I have a Weber Kettle we can work a deal on if you still have that P80. I wont likely be using it once the rectec comes.

recteq just called me and said the cover will be back in stock next month so if I wanted to order one I could and they would waive shipping cost. But I'm sure I'll be fine without it for now.

Its the bigger one, 22" I think, but just the standard model. I've probably only used it a half dozen times. I'll give you the Charcoal starter chimney and a half a bag of Kingsford too.

I'll pass on that. Am looking at the "master-touch" model.

I'll sell you the P80 for $120 if you want it.

you need the spacing on the 80/20 or the spacing between the actual bars?

You are reading it correct. It's 1" center to center.
