An old friend of mine and his now ex-wife, she wanted to get a tattoo. She went and got one on her lower back. She shows it to my wife. It reads "Live, Love, Laugh". My wife said, that ain't right. She said, yeah he messed that part up but it looks good don't it?

Yeah this  I like Minions. One maintenance all hands meeting I got the Maintenance Manager to play the clip Minions Assemble to kick off the meeting. Everyone enjoyed it. I think there were a few of those Minions we could easily put names to. It was a good fun icebreaker to start a morning meeting that no one cares for.

Guess for me that would depend on what's wrong with the way it's currently set up. If you were to replace the entire thing, plumb it to have the oil drain like the original and do the same with the condensate drain. It actually looks like some thought was put into the design even as messy it looks.

Luckily for us it's usually once a week. Sometimes we get a briefing during turnover, those usually turn into a dumpster fire with everybody's ego.

We used to have all maintenance hands meetings once a week but due to pandemic we haven't had one for awhile. I guess they had meetings last week in four groups...unfortunately...I was out of town.
I like that use of dumpster fire:rofl: ours are usually tame, first thing in morning though not anyone's favorite thing to do sit in a chair for a hour.

We usually have a quick huddle around the supervisors tool box and throw around insults for ten minutes. Then we get told to get back to work and find something to do.

Just what are you trying to figure out?

From the picture it looks like the Red painted compressor is no longer being used the motor would have sat on the right where you can see the bolts

The one hooked up the the motor looks to be plumbed into the tank . you can tell has been added later because of the lack of guards

So many I have seen over the years were very interesting most had just a plug you plugged it in compressor built pressure you unplugged it most were just used to inflate tires .

If you were High Tech you had a fused disconnect to turn it on and off.

Really High Tech a pressure switch

I am the youngest guy there by about 20 years, sometimes it's hard to keep up with them. They've heard and forgotten more creative insults than I've ever heard or read so far.

I loved Football in the seventies then they started putting the quarter back in a mini Skirt .

I kinda lost interest then tackles had to be within a certain impact zone .

I have Found Girls Field Hockey is much more exciting one of my Friends was the coach and drug me along.

I swear if HR would hear half of it, we'd all be fired

There's a couple guys that fit this bracket, but most of us are within 10 years. Seems like in our shop it's one giant gay joke though

Ironically enough, our departments secretary is the dirtiest out of them all. She gets a big kick out of it when we turn around disgusted

It seems to always end up being short and fat jokes going around. The head millwright (our boss) is 5 foot flat and 150 lbs drippin wet. Lots of "oh, you need help to reach that?" Jokes.
