I'm re- geared, running 4.88 it's not a problem but I wouldn't want to on account of wearing the chains out.

I wish they had Saturday runs instead. I'm normally busy on Sundays. But I'll keep an eye on that group... I might be able to make it out occasionally in summer.

Has anyone been to BHM? Between Syracuse and Binghamton. They're open both days this weekend. I was thinking about going out on Saturday.

Ive heard good things about BHM on Facebook groups. I know they did a big charity ride there in November for a Jeep guy with cancer or something.

Cool. It looks like a handful of artificial Jeep-y obstacles, plus 14 miles of trails. Not sure yet if the weather will support it this weekend, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

Here's a winter wheeling pic of my old 93 FZJ80, about 15 years ago, on one of the side trails up by Sucker Pond.

there is a run to Suckers pond this Sunday, you going? I’m 50/50, but I know @Checkers10160 is planning.

The girl with the Prius bought a set of chains and is pledging to show up. So that’s gonna be fun to watch.

Haha I just saw your edit, I came to this thread to mention her. It's cool she wants to off road, but a Prius is just going to slow us down. I am not sitting on this trail for 8 hours again. Did you see yesterday she slid into a ditch and had to get pulled out?

I also saw her say she can cross water up to 2 feet, but her ground clearance is only 8"... This all just seems like a recipe for disaster

She’s either the greatest troll ever or completely nuts. Either way, I look forward to 20 years from now when I can tell people how that burnt out and abandoned Prius ended up on one of these trails.

Seriously. It's going to not start one day, and none of us are going to have any idea how to fix a hybrid. And if that thing floods, I'm not getting electrocuted trying to hook up a strap to it

I feel bad, and don't understand why she doesn't sell it. I saw her FB profile, she used to have a 3rd Gen Taco...

Sounds like it’s time for another “mod”ed Prius.
