No, I'm not set on Nikon even though I like them.
Leupold would be just fine but I can't seem to find any in silver.
All I'm really looking for is a silver scope w/just BDC. I don't want/need any with windage.

Ouch. No, because if I'd been paying a bit more attention I wouldn't have turned the buffer tube a 1,/10,000 of an inch too far and it wouldn't have launched. I did find the spring though.

Yeah....if don't launch it across the room, you put a kink in it while trying to align the end plate and tighten the castle nut.

 

Run a 4-40 tap in the rear detent hole, cut off a bit of the spring and put a hex screw in it. First thing I do to every lower.....

She is built. No muzzle device just yet. Going to shoot as is first and decide if I want to even add one. Have the YHM slant but also have been told how awesome the Venom Defense are and they are half the price. So we will see if it even needs one and then go from there.

Yes it is. M17 and M18 both come standard with a manual safety.

Additionally, Sig sells the safety lever and frames separately, so you can add a manual safety to just about every model that uses the P320 FCU.

Filled out my firearm BG check appeal on line today and sent it to the FBI . Minus fingerprints........... we shall see what happens . Can’t find anywhere to get fingerprinted around here .

 

Any law enforcement office should do it. May change $10-20. Usually it is specific days and times as a community resource officer will usually do the printing.
