Had to look. RCI Full Skid Package is 120lbs Steel and 68lbs Aluminum...

RCI- "Package includes engine, transmission, transfer-case, and cross-member skid plates."

That’s not bad at all then. Taking it one more step, the RCI skids are 5/16th or 4.78mm and the IM are 4mm.

    Install in progress... Help!

stuck on rear leafs. Got the driver side and passenger sides sorted, but which direction should leafs be installed. Military wrap in front or back?

EDIT: Gonna go with military wrap in front, seems to be internet consensus, but haven't found anything ironman specific about direction of the leaf packs.

IIRC, each on will have a hole for a bolt on the outside portion of a piece of metal. I can’t remember what screws into it though. Maybe a hose or wire clamp.

Edit- Unless I screwed up my install, here’s a pic from mine-
Each side I think has that extra part on the forward side of the leaf for a clamp.

Military wrap toward front. That's right. Good Luck!

So finally got around to working on installing my FCP Stage 2 kit with performance coils in front, and constant load leaf pack in rear.

For front coils, I dropped the pre-load and set the coil seats at 8 1/2 and 8 3/8.
This gave me approximately 2" lift in the front.
Since I was lowering the lift, I decided to skip doing the UCA's for now. I'll do them this spring/summer.

For the rears, I pulled the 3rd and 5th leaves out of the constant load pack.
This brought me up approx 3 3/4" in the back.

You know that guy who did the ironman install video makes it look a lot easier than it was for me.
Might help that his truck was brand new, and mine was, not. Also I'm an idiot and kept screwing up. That powder coat can't handle a klutz like me.

    My weight setup:
    Sliders (130lb)
    Skids (70lb)
Canopy ( 200lbs with roof rack maybe?)
    Bed Drawer setup (100lb)

20210118_102216.jpg 20210118_102311.jpg I installed my Nitro Stage 1 kit on Friday. Had it aligned Saturday morning and some new 255/85/16 Skinnies mounted. My son and I did the lift at home. All went well, although we did fight the driver side leaf pack a bit. Passenger side went in easy. Fonts were super easy. Turned out great and rides so nice.

Lol, I had found something that would work for center caps and gotten vinyl decals similar to the other set but can’t find the decals. Would have looked like-

Really wish I knew where I put those things lol. I’ll have to order another set if I want to try it again but we’ll see. I might also ask for the same color as the divine beast decal.

That I am. I think the decals are more of a white. I’ll need to ask the seller from Etsy just to make sure before I decide to get a new set.
