Haaa, yes and with that logic, you will never get ripped off because you are a man? Keep dreaming. People get ripped off because they are ignorant. Using your flawed logic, I guess you are saying that women are ignorant? Great theory.

I'd take the optioned-out cement OR for +800 more than you were planning on spending for the SR5 and count the whole thing as a blessing :D

Ask them to send a picture with a sold sticker on the truck....

Congrats on getting a great deal on your new truck. Sucks you had the experience you did but it all worked out in the end it seems. Fingers crossed still

I'm confused by your post. Are you saying that they offered you truck #3 for $35k? and now they are offering you a truck with $6k less in options for $2k less? If they are offering you anything $10k off msrp that includes processing and freight, it is a great deal. Even $6k off if it includes processing and freight, it is a great deal. Can you get both?

Are all these offers for a 2021? Or maybe they're trying to get you to agree to a 2020?

If option 3 is a 4x4, I would jump on that and not look back.

Congratulations Julia, hope you chose option 3 (IF it was a 2021), sounds like a maybe a Dealer Demo........l although option 4 financially is also good.......(white with black accents looks good).
Worked out as predicted, sometimes it’s best to be a “cool customer”.....
This dealershIp has gone from bad to really being one of the best in Customer Service I’ve ever seen.....make no mistake Julia, this is NOT the norm in the Car Business....

please don’t forget now to “pay it forward” for the GM, with Berkshire Corporate.....a nice report of how above and beyond he went for you, not only will be appreciated but help the next customer.

Great news Julia. I think you made the right choice. That's a heckuva deal on a loaded OR, you get cement and you'll love the leather. Congratulations!!!

I’m sure the info is all in this thread but is the Berkshire OR deal more or less than the original deal you had with the original dealership, minus whatever you anticipate saving as compensation for your troubles?

Two ways to look at it I suppose. How much you’re saving on the OR vice MSRP, and how the two deals compare to each other despite being different trucks, if you have a specific budget.

Assuming they’re relatively close, and knowing you’ve already been fudged by the original dealership, I know what I would do. Jump on the OR. I’d think the extras you get with the OR would come in handy some days on the farm, but I could be wrong.

I may not be properly digesting all the information having waded through most of 24 pages.

Edit: since this post is OBE, strike all and replace with congrats, you made the right choice. Great resolution.
