Received and installed yesterday! Super stoked about these. Kills two birds with one stone! Seating position is way more comfy and now my fire extinguisher is in a more practical space than behind the rear seat bins. And im going to fine tune my EDC kit but I'm loving the easy grab location and not having the discomfort of IWB carry while driving.

I would love to mount the halotron fire extinguisher in that same spot, but my wife runs the seat so far forward it doesn’t look like it would clear. Mine might end up in the bed under the tonneau cover.

My seat jackers and rear spacers arrived today. I ended up with the front on both seats and 3/4” rear on the drivers side and 1/4” rear on the passenger side. The passenger side makes such a difference compared to the flat stock seat. The drivers side raises me up enough to take the pressure off my elbows and bring the seat up to support my thighs. Would recommend this mod to anyone.

Dumb question - will the ones I currently have in my 16 Tacoma be a direct bolt in for my 06 GX? I’ll buy a new pair for the GX if they are different, but if I can save money I’d rather just swap them over.

Looks great man! Always cool to see people using the quick fists. When we designed the molle type pattern, Quick Fists are some of the products we designed around.

Nice, always cool to hear the Seat Jackers solved a problem.

Regarding the fire extinguisher fitment, we designed our Quick Drop fire extinguisher mounts so they are clockable and can be mounted pretty low. This might allow you the clearance you need. I'll try to verify.

Not a dumb question at all! Yes, the Seat Jackers your have on your 2016 Taco will bolt into your 06 GX. Same hardware, same block.

The fire extinguisher clearance is not a mount issue, it’s a foot placement issue for me. I would put the extinguisher behind the cross bar, but my wife is 5’2” and runs the seat most of the way forward. With the extinguisher forward of the cross bar the extinguisher is in the way of my feet if I pull my heels back to change positions on a long trip.

Had mone installed for over a month. Have done 5 long drives (3 hours or more) and I no longer have the leg thing going on. Id reccomend this if people are having issues with the seating position.

I may be snagging that molle panel for the front to mount an exstinguisher

Looking for the Special Edition jackets you did a while back in the TRD Orange color. Want them to match dash bezel... any chance in maybe having the next batch you send out to powder done in that color? It would be awesome if you do!!

    Okay initial review:

I literally just got these a bit ago, install was super easy literally 5 minutes (watch the videos online).
So for context i'm 6'2" with long legs/arms. I've had my tacoma for about 2 years now and when i first got it i found the seats super uncomfortable, i couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was but they were really bad. After a while i think i just got used to it/found a specific position that worked well for me. For the most part i'd drive with no issues.

However, i took a roadtrip to utah this fall and on that 16 hour drive i realized how uncomfortable i was, and even now on longer 2+ hour drives i can notice it. It is my hamstrings just aching from having no support and to compensate the position i'd sit in causes my lower back to hurt. Randomly found these and said fuck it i'll give it a shot since i'm going on another raodtrip later this spring.

Now i've only driven them around the neighborhood but initial impressions: There is way more support on my thigh/hamstrings now and it just feels much more comfortable. So far i'm a huge fan and i'm excited to test them later this week on a prolonged drive of 2+ hours.

Here's a bonus too i didn't expect. Usually i have my seat all the way back which is fine because i have my toddler who sits behind me. But shes getting older and leg room is a premium. With the seat jacker i actually need to move my chair forward a notch which frees up just a bit more room for her.

I also have a sunroof but my head doesnt hit the ceiling (but it scraps if i'm wearing a hat)

All in all so far i'd highly recommend this if your uncomfortable. Will update with a long term review later down the road.

Anybody here use the rear risers for the front seats with aftermarket floor mats? I have Husky floor mats and they cover the caps on the back of the front seats. So now they don’t sit flush. I suppose I could trim out the section that goes on top of those caps. Has anyone done that?
