Option #3 is the best option.....even if you dont need the extra stuff it has over the SR5. I just wish DCLB OR models were sold in Canada but unfortunately not....

 

Ok bro, I see that in your world that a 20 year old girl will always get the same quote from any mechanic at any shop, as a 50 year old dude... Don’t sit there like that and say I’m saying women are ignorant. I have 2 daughters that I will always teach and remind them to be aware that many men will try to take advantage of them in lots different regards. To the OP... Congrats, I hope yo chose the Cement OR #3 option for 35K! I paid almost $5K more than that for mine, so you’re getting a great deal at that price! You’d probably be able to re-sell it for that much in a few years!

I just found it really interesting that there are people that actually believe it doesn’t happen. But then again, people believe all kinds of shit these days.

 

Dude, I am with you 100%. But I don't want to engage in this silly discussion because it is not worth arguing on the Internet about this stuff. That is a slippery slope to politics and we know where that will end up ... I also think it says much more about the poster than any of us.

Of course, there is a ton of actual data out there (statistically significant actual research) that shows women pay more for cars, pay higher interest rates and pay more for services among a whole host of other things. There is a real and proven phenomenon that economists refer to as a "Pink Tax." I just can't get into it but there is Google ... so that is all I will have to say on the matter.

But let's not detract attention away from the fact that the OP (who brilliantly responded to the poster with a nice "Thank you," by the way) seems to be navigating this situation perfectly and could end up getting the truck that she needs ... so there's that !

I told them I will take the OR DCLB Cement 4x4, with the $45300 MSRP. I got them the info 7pm their time. They said purchase agreement will be FedEx overnighted tomorrow morning. ONce they get it back from me (my downpayment check), they will schedule to ship it out.

Last time, they sent me a picture with SOLD with my name on it, and it still didn't prevent that truck to be sold to someoone else

I confirmed in writing, that is what I want. Secretary said paperwork will be mailed with tracking to me in the AM (this was done previously as well).

if I wanted a 4x2, shortbed, I have 500 trucks available to me locally. Which is the reason I had to go out of region to get a 4x4, DCLB

 

They sent me pictures of the 2 OR (White has 6 miles, Cement has 8 miles).

The SR5 has 11 miles. Other SR5 with red interior is A status, so still at factory

I am not sure what a dealer demo is. I don't buy new vehicles often thus you will have to explain to that me.

They asked me to provide good honest reviews, once the matter is resolved, and I do plan to do so, as long as they provide what they promised.

I LOVED how much Berkshire Corporate stepped up. GM never responded to ANYTHING, TILL I got CEO/CFO of Berkshire involved. That is when all tune changed.
