Black Tacoma trucks hands down the best looking color.

 

Hardest color to keep clean, but in the words of my old muscle car loving neighbor. If you wanna be cool, you gotta put in the work lol.

 

I drove a black Jeep XJ 4x4 for 25 years. When it came time to finally get a new truck, I wanted a black Tacoma so bad.

That’s my color. Dealership had a black TRD Pro in the showroom.

First Tacoma I ever sat it. My heart was racing so bad.

But I paused and wanted to have a different color so I got a silver Tacoma.

But that Black TRD Pro in the showroom will always be the “Baby Girl” who got away.

I still dream of myself in that Black Beauty.

 

My first new truck was a black 1988 Toyota pick up - before they started to number the GENs. Six cylinder manual transmission. It was a beautiful truck with rollbar and KC lights on the bar and nice wheels. People used to tell me it looked like “Art“. I love that truck and drove it till almost had 200,000 miles on it. The thing ran almost as good as the day I drove it off the dealers lot. The only reason I had to get rid of it is the bed look like Swiss cheese. So much rot but yet the cab was still perfect.

I had two Tacoma‘s in between a red and a silver TRD off-road. Fast forward to December 28, 2019 and now I went back to a brand new black Tacoma.

Black is beautiful when it’s clean, but man it is a bitch to keep clean.

But I guess it’s true what they say, “once you go black you always come back”

 

That would be a 5th gen "pickup"/Hilux

2021 Access cab. Just brought it home yesterday. Had a 2018 same model that was totaled after hitting a deer. Glad to have a truck again.

Do you happen to have any more pics of your set up? I have some black SCS SR8s and am thinking about switching to a bronze wheel myself. Tired of the blacked out look. Was considering those exact wheels. You happy w/ the combo?

Is that the wheel providing the offset, or do you have spacers?

 

I believe that’s the -10 offset at work! Sits out about the same as my SCS with same offset. Love the stance on that truck.
