I debated myself for a couple years before pulling the trigger on Clazzios. I didn't want them to look like janky seat covers, and it seemed like a lot of money. Man, they are worth every penny. Quality material.
I got vinyl covers with perforated leather inserts (the most popular seller), and added seat heater pads between the factory seat fabric and the clazzios. You'd never know they weren't factory leather seats unless you looked under the seat, because they tuck in everywhere without wrinkles or raised areas. I'm very happy with the custom fit, they feel great, and they have a nice discount for TacomaWorld members.

There are plenty of pics of Clazzios installed in Tacomas to help you decide.

Off topic, but here's where I mounted the seat heater switches:

Not much to report. Greased the zerks and changed the oil.
Next oil change will have me slightly over 150k miles.
Probably time to do the spark plugs as well?

Just did mine this weekend, along with the PCV valve. Cylinder 2 (driver's side, closest to the radiator) was a bitch to get the coil disconnected/reconnected. Almost lost my cool and started throwing 10mm's around like I had some to spare!

How did you get around the airbag sensor. I just did Corbeaus today myself. Now I have the light on in the dash. It’s obviously not plugged in. Trying to figure out what to do....

Wash, clay bar, polish, and wax yesterday.

New tail lights showed up today, saw a lot of complaints about the LED tube looking pink vs. red with the clear lens so I went with the smoked lens. Since the housing is black and not chrome it makes the lens look really tinted especially when it's dark, but in the sunlight you can see through the lens no problem and it doesn't seem like the light output is affected very much. Very happy with how they look, surprised the stock ones didn't get swapped out sooner.

I took today off from work to work on the truck. After fixing the washing machine and mowing the lawn I got a little further on my traction bar project.

I'm taking tomorrow off too. :)

I took measurements on the factory flares and will post the difference when I get the new Bushwacker flares mounted.

    Please stay tuned.

I just found these “pro” grills and were exactly how I wanted one, slightly different from the “pro” that has been out for a few years from the mainland.

ordered last night and have tracking already, fingers crossed.

Not today but recently...trd faux pro grille because Ive wanted that grille on a 2nd gen since before I ever bought my truck and the mountain hatch tailgate that I sat on and promptly scratched with my pocket knife that was in my pocket. Oh well, that hatch will see far more abuse headed it's way..

    what are those?
well those are pretty...gotta do this one day... I was going to do BLHM but everything I paint always gets dog hair in it somehow so chickened out...figured retros while I was at it but haven't gotten around to research.

I don't think retro's are legal here in BC though...

I went the cheap route, Mictuning C1 8 piece kit off of Amazon. I’ve heard nothing but good about them, and they’re bright and work great. Install was pretty simple, routing the wires is a pain though.

Rock lights is probably the one place where it's better to go with cheaper lights since they are at more risk of getting damaged.

That’s a decent point for sure. They were over $100 cheaper than my other options, and still work great and are super bright.

Go ahead and order some of these. The only light I have been able to see threw the smoked tail lights I have like yours.
