What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did you just add the 1/2” shim on the leaf spring? If so, do you need longer U bolts than the stock ones?

 

I have the 1/2" shim to add but haven't installed it yet. I will be using it with a 3 leaf aal so I have longer U bolts that came with the aal. You may need longer U bolts over the stock ones. If you are looking to just add the shim to the stock setup I would contact Headstrong and ask them as they should know. Hope that helps.

Like everyone else, I'm waiting "patiently" for mine. I ordered mine December 31. It was shipped out on Jan. 2nd from Rainier, Oregon. And it's still "in transit" per USPS.

 

Ordered this skid plate to replace the stock belly pan.

I feel your pain waiting on an item I ordered on dec 31 too. USPS is Soo slow.

 

Where from? Looks like an decent alternative vs. the TRD one from the stealer-ship.

 

Installed meso puddle pods, and switch. Took about 3 hours. Meso products are so clean, stew really stands behind his product.

Looks like the TRD plate but seller says it doesn't have any emblem at all. It won't fit SR, SR5 or TRD sport unless you remove the plastic lower valance under the bumper. No loss on that. Yeah it does look good for around $300

 

I get things have slowed up due to the Covid, workers being out, and quite simply put: demand is greater than availability.

But sweet Jesus, my fam got Christmas cards a day or so after NYE that were mailed out in early December. One came from somewhere in Florida. And I can understand it might take 3-4 days in a "regular" mail day. But damn. Cards after NYE and were mailed out in early December?

A close friend of mine who I knew through college recently passed away. His mom lives in the next county over. I sent a sympathy card (might be a 30 minutes drive). But I mailed the card last week. Lord only know when OR if she'll get this coming week.

Under my carport, we have just traditional LED bulbs in a standard fixture that are cool white bulbs. 13watts? I can't remember.

 

I hear that stuff happening all over. Even I got Christmas card after new years this year.
One thing the postal service is doing better than the IRS. I sent in 2 returns at the end of March 2020 and they still haven't proccessed them yet. Last week i called and was told they are about 7 million pieces of mail behind. When they were closed March to July the postal service dropped trailers of mail in their parking lots. I'll be waiting who knows how long.

 

Def update with pictures and let us know if install was as expected/any quirks etc. You may have found a hidden gem.
