I'm surprised you find ammo. The shelves have been empty here for weeks.

A local gun shop got 3 pallets of 9mm last Thursday afternoon and it was gone by noon Friday.

Much like it is here. Customers know when the sports stores get deliveries and line up prior to opening.

I don’t think that would go over real well with the antibiotic and steroid I’m on.

    That's a toughie.
I'd been keeping my eye out for some .223 cartridges loaded with Hornady VMax bullets for months...finally scored 200 a few days ago from Freedom Munitions.
For those who don't know what VMax are...they're thin jacketed, explosive fragmentation varmint bullets.
    For groundhogs.
    Splat. :)

    Oh, and BTW...

It's not getting any better either.

When I was shooting Trap regularly and reloading shotshells, I kept shells in 5 gallon buckets.
Really. It was too much trouble boxing them.
Still have a few buckets full.

Since I built my AR15, I've managed to amass over 3,000 cartridges, in addition to shooting off over 1,000...
...breaking in the rifle, banging silhouettes at 200 yds, etc.
But the price keeps going up and up...over a buck a round now.
