    I can tell you now that the choice tap is due to proximity, but if you leave the fog switch ON, you'll get an illumination of the lamps when the vehicle does it's fuel pump check.
    The one I use is in the side relay box, (2 choices there): 10A IG1 No. 2 is the Battery Charger IGN supply and 7.5A ECU_IG No.2 for the Inverter Relay. A little work to get the small wire from the side relay box into the main relay/fuse box,. Just follow the harness out then into...

    Why is it bad for the lights to come on when the truck does its fuel pump check? It only does that when i'm starting the engine, correct? What am I not considering?

    I'm okay with extra work just want to understand. I assume this behavior is exclusive to IGN-MAIN and not the other two relays you mentioned in the side relay box.

    It'll spook anyone not knowing why the fog lights are on after a few hours have passed. It's related to a pump check the truck does.

    And you are correct that the other locations do not behave like the circuit mentioned.

    Choose pink or lime green.

    This is the terminal that inserts into the M6 connector slot 26 (blue wire)

    I'm afraid the diode is not the one needed. I verified the part #.

    Maybe they made a mistake when they packaged it....
    I used the HONDA one, it's made by Sumitomo and it was $9.00...

    Ok, this is interesting and fun.

    Caribe, do you have reservations about a T harness or maybe it is hard to find matching connectors? I was thinking that would be fairly easy to unplug at the ECU side to return to OEM functionality for inspections rather than flipping a switch. Upside of that effort is a quick way to revert if any trouble encountered with the diode or whatever.
