I used them for the 4Runner and GX. Well worth the money.

I never really had them on. I only wanted these wheels but the seller was only selling them as a combo. So I bought the combo and am selling the tires. I only have them on my truck for a few days so I can run to tire stores to get stuff swapped around.

I don't own a GX, but I'm enjoying this thread enough that I might buy one down the road. If I do, definitely want to do a suspension upgrade like I've seen here...lol

They seem like awesome tires, super beefy. If they were larger I would just leave them on there.

I've got some experience on this tire on a Grand Cherokee and my T4R. FANTASTIC tire, smooth & quiet for a M/T, good life on them (currently about 30k on them and they're at 9-10/32) Will DEFINITELY buy them again.

You will get 10 different opinions on suspension. I will advocate for Dobisons, other for Kings, others for OME, etc. etc. Our experience is typically only with what we have on our own cars. Make sure you factor in the things that may go along with raising your hopefully soon to be GX. For instance, I love the ride of the Dobinsons but that 3" lift shifted my rear axle about an inch to the right. Stock there is no adjustments to the rear suspension for alignments. And honestly it's not really affecting my alignment but I ordered the Dobinsons adjustable rear panhard bar just to bring the axle back in place. Most lifts will probably affect that somewhat anyways, not just Dobinsons. So just keep that all in mind.

I probably need to get the eimkeith kit at some point to get my pan hard flattened out. I think that paired with a adjustable is the best combo. I have a little rear end wag going on with high speed and hitting a bump and am around 3”-3.25” of lift in the rear.. Funny enough my 4Runner which only has 1” eibach rear springs and some rancho monotube shocks has more rear end wag/sway.

I went the cheap Amazon route. They are pretty white, but I like them. Did reverse lights as well...

Got the EIMKEITH PCK and KDSS spacers ordered from Treaty Oak back in December. Should be arriving any day now. Will report back with results.

Decided to tackle the blinking "Off" light again. Except using the SST pin out method, using the actual SST. Although a paper clip will work. Which involves pulling out the TEMs fuse, connecting pins 4 & 12 of the ODB port and performing the ZPC. This didn't work for me. As soon as the car is turned on and it notices the missing TEMs I get the 3 lights again.
My next thing to try was to pull the "Off" bulb. Only after tearing the cluster apart did I realize there are no bulbs, everything back there is soldered on LEDs.
So my next step will be either take the cluster cover off and put a piece of tape over the light or just ignore it.

It's really weird that different people with GXs will experience different results. Some may have no issues pulling the 3 fuses, some can't get the blinking "Off" light to go away.
