You you're gonna have to remove the belt, filter and intake pipes from the SC, pull the single lowest 6mm mounting screw and spacer for the head unit bracket, then remove the 3- 6mm mounting bolts that secure the head unit bracket to the valve cover mounting bracket. The tensioner is held on with a few mounting screws on the back side. Use blue loc-tite on the screws when you re-assemble everything.

Ps. I still disagree that the belt is slipping at all. Mine tensioner is in the middle set of holes and its already VERY high on the tension imo.

I have to tighten my belt tensioner, readd their tune, send them a datalog, and then go from there. I have my last final on wednesday so after that I will have more time and I can get back to messing with my truck again

If manual you probably need a stronger clutch. I believe the stock clutch slips even with a stock trd supercharger setup.
It you are an auto trans look into getting the ratiotek hd valve body kit.

A lot of people do that installation themselves. Not too hard. They'll ship the valve body out to IPT for the upgrade.

Hopefully you mean exchanging the fluid out and not actually flushing by machine? Doing the valve body is pretty easy. I'd say do it yourself but it can't be more than a couple hours of labor at a shop. (And you don't have to deal with the smell....)

Ps. The Valvoline synthetic maxlife is like 5x cheaper than WS. Insert opinions about oil below this line.

Got re-tuned today with a different MAF sensor/housing. It made a couple more ponies surprisingly now 381hp/368tq :headbang:

For the curious we switched to the Denso "197-6040" in a 3" housing. I had the stock "197-6030" in a 3.5" before but it was maxing out. The new sensor didn't max out even in the smaller 3" housing. (at least not at my airflow levels) Rescale as needed.

    That's great news!

I take it the newer part number is a higher resolution MAF sensor then. What is it out of?

Ahh! Did a quick search and found that the sensor is also used in the Mazda speed 3

Yea it's just off the shelf, I'm sure they use it in a bunch of stuff. Lucky the tuner recognized it and knew about the alternative. Plug and play and rescale otherwise. Definitely better drivability vs. stock with big housing.

Did your tuner rescale for the new sensor in the ecu? From the description of just swapping the Maf sensor it sounds like the system got 'tricked' with the swap. The new sensor will be reading a wrong value in the ecu.

Not sure what the tuner did but just a heads up and something to look out for as it doesn't appear to be a proper fix.
