Chuck how long have you had a Shafiroff motor? His motors are some of the best out there.

I've had this Shafiroff racing 427sbc for almost a year now . I purchased and had it built back in Oct 2019 and installed in the Camaro in March 2020

It's their Ultra Street HHR 565hp 427sbc that was built to over 600hp

Well that Sir is outstanding. My friend Ralph had a Shafiroff 540 that he sprayed copious amounts of N02 for YEARS....lol. Never missed a beat. He did send it off some time later and story goes they rubber stamped it and sent it back. The note attached from Scott was, "Add another hundo and letter eat" Ahahahahahahhaha. (seriously I hope he's still alive. I know he stepped back a bit on the building of motors himself)

I almost went with their 434sbc but decided on the 427sbc and I'm very happy with it . Yes Scott is still around managing his business and making YouTube videos

When I had the 427sbc spec'd out it was with high dollar components especially the crank and rods / pistons . I was told the short block was capable of supporting 1500hp

If you haven't heard my engine here's a video of it Cackling away . That's a 243/251 @ .050 .595/.598 Comp cams Hydraulic roller cam and 10.4:1 compression you're listening to

That's a beautiful sound. I've always said the best place to here a engine is ground level at the "A" pillar. (header collector). Sounds like a thumper Chuck. Love it.
