Sorry... don't think my sarcasm was blatant enough. No disrespect intended.

77 square miles surrounded by reality.
    Vehicle:
    '15 Black DCLB SR5
Tires, Softopper, fully armored, winch, many pinstripes.
So the best ending would be to order the SR5 with red interior that you wanted, when it comes in, sell the OR for 44k and pocket a bunch of cash, tax free :)

I'm glad this situation seems to be working out for the best! I really hope they follow through and you get that truck soon.

Keep an eye on the marketplace here, people sell the predator steps all the time (or put up a WTB ad, might get some bites). The bed mat for the LB however seems to be a rare sale, but you can find it for under $100 at some dealers.

Kudos to you for (farm style) persistence!! To me - I'd go option 3 - but whatever you decide you will enjoy a wonderful new truck and every time you sit in the seat you will be reminded that fighting for the right thing is never a wasted effort.

Take option #3 if nothing else for the LED headlamps, they are amazing.

From this old (horse ) farm guy...Carhartt seat covers work well for me...they are not fancy looking (think Carhartt Coat) but they are water repellant and easily removed and washed. I have them in the front and back seats on my Tacoma and in the front seats (he has an access cab) of my son's 2002 Tacoma.

1/19/2021 UPDATE -Received Fed Ex overnight purchase agreement. Signed, and mailed it out now.

They sent over the VIN of the truck with the options. I am uploading it here.

They expect the truck 1/28/2021, and then sending it out to me. Per their time table, 2/8/21 is the latest I should have it in my driveway

I bought the bedlight kit for my truck from Toyota, will return it now, as this has it.

Yes will have to pick up some seat covers. This truck is TOO nice for me. (still pinching myself) - lets see if it happens. Hope its not a dream :(

Keeping fingers crossed. Its like having an engagement ring (after signing everything today) waiting for the wedding.

Who knows if the groom will show up :D

Looks like a great truck! Now you can look at other things for it and hopefully relax.

Not sure I’ve you’ve seen before but I think that will have the remote start built in as well with the tech package that’s not indicated anywhere but word of mouth lol.

I love them - so does my son. He is 19 and just graduated HS and heads off to college this year. He has worked side jobs since he was 10 (tractor /farm work, landscaping, building homes, teaches survival /outdoor skills, teaching martial arts) - the point is he is always FILTHY ...in addition to being dirty around the farm. OHH - he also does blacksmith work on the side (makes things), so he usually has coal dust all over him (LOL).

The covers are great as you can remove them, throw them in the wash and put them back on, clean as a whistle. I got ours from Real truck.com. I'm former military and they give discounts - not sure if that applies to you. I believe they were around 500 bucks (maybe 6) , but to me well worth the money. Good luck and again I'm so glad things worked out great - kindness and persistence are not mutually exclusive and I believe still gets the job done best.

You did tell me they would pay for shipping. You (amongst MANy others) have been an incredible help to make my demand grid. However, I didn't need it, since they offered it all up.

I never modified my trucks. Remember my current 18 Taco is a SR Utility - nothing TW family would be impressed by :) STil got the skinny 245 tires on it!

Having said that, when I was geting this SR5 (now that growing season is over - I spent too much time here) and I bought bed lights, black out kit, and Tacoma rear emblem before I had the truck.

Now you are telling me to lift the truck. Stop taking my money :D

But in all seriousness - I appreciate your help from day one. THANK YOU

Ah ok makes sense. In that case, these are not Demo. Toyota corporate pulled the VIN, and they were on "freight" status, and some in A (allocated status). Not sure the back workings, but they are having it "routed" to the dealer, once I chose the truck.

    :)

Thank you. I hope it gets delivered to .

I do want the Method/orSC5 bronze wheels and the nice tires. I don't need it though. But you guys keep temping me!!!

I gotta sell a LOT more fruit next year - to afford the taxes and registration on this truck!!!!!!
