Call any Toyota dealer service dept and give them your VIN, they will have every info about your trucks equipment.(OEM).

 

You can do the same thing online.

 

Yes, filters are necessary here very frequently. Probably as frequently as wet weather owners change their wipers

 

As long either of the nav works (carplay or built in) I am fine with it

Which costco ones did you go with? My FJ had costco covers (cheap ones) never really fit right. Looked like walmart take offs. Pretty embarassing looking.

Its nice that yours comes with bed lights. I installed a Retrax cover and it was SUPER dark without lights. The OEM LED bed lights are great.
Although I have the 2020 (not 2021).

Hold up just a second...because all I got out of this was that the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet, was supposedly on this call. And gave you his personal cell? He's one of the richest men in the world and would never waste his time over something like this lol.

@averagejp , and @tomwil, @DES2009 helped me figure out who is ownership group of the dealership. Then I reached out to them. It was Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, TX based.

On the text you quoted, "automotive" was left out, as I typed it, since it had been established who the group CEO/CFO/Counsel was.

I never claimed Warren Buffet called me - nor do I believe he cares about this, or has anything to do with it

 

How did you get such a pretty and logical breakdown of the truck? The VIN decoder on Toyota's site doesn't have nearly as much detail.

 

It was provided to me by selling dealer, via email and a paper copy was in the FedEx overnight bag this AM as well

Hi Julia, I went with the Costco neoprene seat covers @$200 for the fronts, takes 6 weeks for the Company to make them.......I fold my back seats for storage........hoping they give me a little more cushioning for my old guy body for the 4 1/2 drives to work.......

With your 2021, I would expect electric driver seat......which takes care of the number one complaint of Tacoma’s......I did the seat mod on my 2010.......

i would highly recommend your first Tacoma mod, to either be the LEd interior light bulbs OR the Hood struts.....both cheap, easy, and a MUST......

for $45K, you’d think they would come standard.

Looks like LED interior bulbs (where do you guys get them), seatcovers (will look at costco neoprene), hood struts (miss my FJ ones) would be the first things. But I wont jinx myself, buying those, before we get the truck here!!

Truck IS coming.......that part is DONE........only thing you have to REALLY do, is take a close look at at when it gets delivered, and don’t sign delivery paperwork, until YOU are happy.

LED interior bulbs.....Ebay.....some of the videos on YouTube of the installs have links......the new multiple LED dome light is popular but too bright for me.

hood struts is Stryker...(@$100)...I used a different Company because mine had zero drilling involved.....just don’t remember the name.......what’s funny is the reaction of the service advisors at Toyota....they think they’re great....

have another 3 weeks to go on my seat covers arrival so can’t tell you good or bad.

saw you’re truck comes with BSM blind spot mirror technology and collision avoidance technology......wife loves it , probably will never have a car without it....
