Gonna go pick these up today for $100. Guy bought the wrong size and they are new. This is the tread I've been wanting due to my directionals having poor reverse traction. Hopefully they will have better forward traction as well due to the flat shouldered tread profile.

Dis-mounted one of the tires. I pulled the core and drove around it with my truck to break the bead. Sprayed the beads with cooking spray. I hate that my bars aren't in view for this but my camera zooms a bit when you start to record. 1 minute to dismount.

Meats are on. 2 mins 24 secs to mount. I bought 2" long valvestems and 1" extensions so I could check them with the weights on. I have to cut the weights for the stems to sit in. Also bought a liquid fill valve and will fluid fill soon.

I loaded my 3240 tires with 8 gallons of windshield washer fluid each today. I set it up to drill a hole in the jugs and blow it into the tires. After I got the process down it went quick. I drilled a hole in a washer bottle lid and pulled a valvestem in it to hook a hose to. I bought a tire fill valve but if I had to do it over again I'd just have hooked a hose directly valvestem to valvestem. The air just pushed back up the hose when the fluid flow stopped. 65lbs ballast per tire for $42 total. Fairly cheap ballast.

Similar to the method I used, but I just drilled a hole in a jug cap with a Forstner bit and threaded a spare NPT/hose barb fitting I had laying around into it.
Connect tubing, flip jug upside down, poke hole, pressurize. Easy Peasy

Got my weights hole sawed and cut, painted with Van Sickle International off-white. I really like this paint. It is super thick and shiny. 2 coats of it are like 4-5 of Rustoleum 2X. I put 2" valvestems and 1" extenders on so I can easily air the tires up thru the weights.

    Picked up this project.

Needs deck pulleys, 1 front wheel and a choke cable and a battery.
It sounded good when I ran it earlier.
A good pressure washing would help too.
Engine has a stumble when throttling up slowly. I'm gonna have my brother in law go thru the carb.

    I didn't look that close.

It's a Kohler Command. I don't know what HP. I'll look tomorrow in the day light.

Probably same engine as this one..37hp Kohler. Damn welding must pay better than I thought.

Just kidding. I saw this add yesterday on my local CL. Thought it was some Chinese kids up to their usual. Searched it. Sure enough. Toro sells a $33,000 riding mower. Who buys one of these (at all), and sells it after one season. Appears to be an individual, not company listing. Less than 400hrs.
