    The Sage Brush Sea starts just West of the Northern Missouri, although is some of it on the East side too.

    Each November spend a couple of weeks an hour East of the Missouri in SD up near the ND border hunting pheasants with 3 other retired Navy guys. The Admiral ended up buying a house there. One of the guys ended up retiring down in Spearfish, SD he is in the low humidity mild winters area.

    East of the River the prairie starts the transition

    I donated my kitchen table that my sons grew up with to the house. After what's her name left to go find herself LOL. The Admiral won't let us give him any money for staying there because of residency\tax complications. What the hell do you get for a 2 star Admiral that pretty much already has everything?

    We don't exactly rough it hunting in SD.
