Can I crank down my ext travels to almost no threads and put them on until I get UCAs? They claim 0-3" so I assume yes, this should bring me back to around brand new stock. Coils are 650s and truck is a completely stock 2014 double cab short bed TRD offroad.

This is by design to account for the natural lean in the truck.

Nice, thanks for the info ill throw one side on before I mount anything up just to make sure my alignment isn't too bad till I get my tires and UCAs, the stock ones are blown so it may even be at worse alignment now then after I put them on.

The need for a UCA has a lot to do with droop/down travel, which cannot be avoided by keeping the lift height low. So no, not recommended.

Your upper ball joint should act as a limit strap for a little while. :bananadead:

Your UCA may also come into contact with the springs at full droop as well.

Anybody have any used UCAs they're willing to part with? Don't see any in the for sale section?

SPC are some of the best in the business for replaceable ball joint UCAs. They also have alignment adjustments and lot of shops are familiar with them.

Also, along with mentioned above, SPCs are very nice and can take a beating... if you are crafty you can drill a hole and add some self-tapping zercs to the arm parts where the mounting bolt passes through (do this before mounting of course). JBA UCAs do this (red UCAs below) and it’s the only thing I wish SPC did.

Well 800 miles later. Getting some sag. And sway bar is running on the resivoir mount . Gonna have to say I wish headstrong had the 700lb coils in stock. Coukd have saved me some headaches . Now I will have to swap . 22.5 on the driver's side and 22 on passenger it seems the coil is just compressing the shock too much not allowing hardly any downtravel

Is it rubbing on the passenger side mount too? Maybe the sway bar isn't centered in the brackets and it's closer on the driver side.

That could be one issue. I'll double check. I have to remove the brackets anyways because I have to install my cbi t3 frame supports
